This is the story of The Watchers and their offspring, the Nephilim. The Watchers were angels charged with overseeing mankind. They were tasked with recording the lives of men which was to be used at the time of each man’s judgement. But a group of Watchers succumbed to their lusts and ultimately rebelled against God when they married human women who produced their hybrid offspring, the Nephilim. The Watchers would set themselves up as the gods of this world. The Nephilim were the giants, demigods and great kings of mythology and folklore. These Watchers taught their Nephilim offspring, and subsequently man, hidden knowledge, knowledge which would be used one day to create abominations and wreak havoc across the earth. Their evil became so great, that God Himself needed to intervene to stop it.
